The Gear

Everything I use to shoot Wander Cuts — packed into a bag small enough to carry all day.

The whole point of this channel is travelling light and staying mobile. No tripod-laden backpacks, no crew. Just a compact setup that fits in a jacket pocket and still captures a place the way it actually feels.

Here’s exactly what’s in the bag.

The Camera — DJI Osmo Pocket 3

The heart of everything. A pocket-sized gimbal camera that shoots stunningly smooth 4K footage without a rig. The built-in stabilisation means I can walk through a chaotic market in Hanoi or cycle along Dubai Marina and the footage stays buttery smooth. If you buy one thing for travel filmmaking, make it this.

Audio

Wind noise is the enemy of travel video. A simple wind muff over the built-in mics makes a huge difference, and for interviews or vlogging the DJI Mic 2 pairs directly with the Pocket 3.

Storage

4K footage eats memory fast. A high-speed microSD card is essential — I shoot everything onto a 256GB card so I never run out mid-trip.

Power

A compact power bank keeps the Pocket 3 running all day. On a full day of filming I’ll easily recharge twice.
